So, when Soraya and Jason Parker took over the pretty grade II building in 2016 on Bellevue Terrace, they didn’t quite realise the extent of the work they were going to do over the next 2.5 years. The couple both fell in love with the idea of a modern eatery in a great location but what seemed like a small renovation turned into a huge project!

So, without sounding like your Mum, here are my top tips on going to a festival & still feeling fabulous… or at least preserving a shred of your health & wellbeing!
Having seen Ali in her glory shot for issue 1 it was nice to go and hang out at the Wave Maiden on an early Friday evening and chat to her about food, beer, gin and of course all the creative things they have going on there.
