Nothing shouts Summer like your favourite coffee on ice that seriously knows how to quench that thirst or an indulgent milkshake made to perfection. So where around town hits the spot when it comes to serving up a cold coffee drink?
When Dave fitted his nitro brew tap at the back of his 1979 Camper last year, we were impressed. Now he has a permanent residence at the Slaughter House, he has brought his cold brew vibes with him. You can get a nice cold brew coffee here every day of the week!
With 10 choices of ice coffee to choose from, the Hideout crew know how to bring Summer to your door! The coffee daddy being ‘The Pedro’ means this bad boy has 6 shots of espresso over ice with you got it more ice!
This fab independent is serving up the coolest of milkshakes that look like a meal within itself! Made with whole milk, creamy ice cream, syrup and topped with squirty cream, this drink is the king of milkshakes this Summer. Not for people who don’t want dairy! You can purchase from both branches and Baffled on the Beach near the South Parade Pier. You can also grab a cool iced coffee here, but I really want you to go see their milkshakes.
This cute spot at the Hotwalls knows how to draw you in for the views and the food but they do fab iced coffees, perfect after a stroll along the seafront.
The well-loved deli on Elm Grove has a passion for Greece as the owner has holidayed there with his family over the years, so Dan loves to bring a touch of Greek to his deli. Welcome the Greek Frappe which is so nice in the hot weather. They also do an Iced Latte here.
This long-standing vegan spot on Albert Road serves up the best Iced Matcha. I beg you to try this. It won’t give you a caffeine hit but it will hit all the right places!
I love the caramel Iced Latte here, it’s like having an ice cream but lighter and definitely hits the spot. The walk along the seafront with the view of the sea and the Solent makes this place a firm Southsea favourite!
