Issue 10 of Southsea Folk came out at the end of March and we were the pioneers of the Summer colouring in focus!
We knew the weeks ahead were going to be tricky, children across our city would need a focus and we are delighted we worked with Dan from @allcaps.co to bring an exciting cover. Even though we are now in June we are still promoting this project!
We’re asking the children of Southsea to get creative this summer by colouring our cover. This could be drawing, colouring, collaging… whatever makes you happy. If you don’t have a copy of the magazine you can download the cover from our website www.southseafolk.uk. Winning entries will take home a prize kindly donated by White Dog Gallery. The Southsea Gallery of White Dog (situated at the back of Waitrose) is going to have a window display of all your talented artwork from September. To enter: simply colour the cover and hand your artwork into the White Dog Gallery which has opened its doors to customers! Or you can post your entry in the post by emailing info@southseafolk.uk for the details of this.
Winners will be announced September 2020
