After discovering Charlotte Cornelius at a market a few years ago, it’s been so exciting to see the business go from strength to strength and be embraced by the community. Before opening her shop on Castle Road and then relocating to a larger premises on Marmion Road, Charlotte worked from her home studio on Hayling Island. With a wealth of practical and professional experience, her business as an independent designer has been running for over 18 years. Gems are sourced ethically and from dealers who are part of the Kimberley Process as well as Charlotte welcoming the introduction of recycled and eco silver and gold within the jewellery world. The business also supports local charities “Off the Record” and “Five Talents”. Growing the business and building her team has enabled this creative company to flourish, continue producing quality pieces and keep, “… valuing every person who walks through the door.”
Inspired by her surroundings, the ready to wear collections include iconic seaside twists; Bella Onda, Bubbles and Seabirds being the three available online. She also has a thriving bespoke side to the business, reimagining heirlooms and sentimental pieces of jewellery or creating something entirely new for a special occasion. With their on-site workshop and goldsmith, it’s a very personal and hands-on service.
