March Things To Do

March is a great month as the nights are getting lighter, Spring is on the way and bulbs are coming out. Tulips are lovely flowers to pop up and of course the daffodil which brings on the feeling of Easter. So here are a few of our favourite things to do this March. Whatever you do have fun!

8th March Is International Women’s Day and to celebrate Aurora is holding a special evening. If guest poets, writers and an open mic evening sound like your thing pop down to Albert Road. It costs £5.00 and looks to be a lovely evening!

8th March Sees a collaborative photographic event and exhibition called The Island City – Three Lenses. Held at the office of Stephen Morgan from 7pm until 9pm. Featuring work by Alex Slator, Jon Tyrell and Five Architects and hosted by Stephen Morgan.

9th March A new exhibition starts on Friday at the Play Dead Gallery on Highland Road. It is an Installation by Evagelia Hagikalfa and starts at 7pm. What we love about Play Dead Gallery is the outside wall how it always changes to match the latest exhibition. We can’t wait to see all the installation.
